The Cloud Contest Console is a tool designed to simplify the coordination of online Toastmasters speech contests. It runs in the web browser of any device and operating system, allowing contest officials to submit and review records while participating in a video conference.
A Contest Chair or Chief Judge begins by setting up an event. An event can include any number of speech contests (International, Humorous, Evaluation, etc.).
As the Contest Chair or Chief Judge adds other officials to their contests, each official receives an email message containing a link. Clicking the link directs an official to her personal contest console. The console for each type of official — Judges, the Tiebreaking Judge, Counters, and Timers — has different features.
The Cloud Contest Console was developed by Michael Gurney in January 2022. It is dedicated to his fellow Area Directors of Toastmasters District 96.
